X.3678 X.3456 We have completed 100 hours running on the bump chassis with a radiator built up of copper extruded tubes. We have had no leaks during the whole run. We attach to Mr. Royce's copy of this memo. a pamphlet describing how these tubes are made. By the time we received these tubes from America they would be equally as expensive as the Cartridge drawn brass tubes. One would imagine the extruding process of making tubes must be much cheaper than the drawing process. We recommend that we should make enquiries to see whether anybody in England are making, or likely to make, extruded tubes. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
