Tests on two Magnetos

| MAGNETO | Low speed | High Speed | High speed with leak |
|---|---|---|---|
| | A | 30° | 60° | A | R | A | R |
| WATFORD E.H.6. | 45 | 90 | 120 | 5,000 | 5,000 | Slight miss at 780 then OK to 5,000 | 5,000 |
| LUCAS | 50 | 85 | 120 | Slight miss at 2,000 and cuts out entirely on one side above this speed. * | 5,000 | Slight miss at 1,200. very poor at all other speeds. ⓧ | 5,000 |

* At 3000 R.P.M. magneto had to be retarded 30° to obtain regular sparking

ⓧ At 1800 R.P.M. about 90° sparks missing.

Low speeds on 5 3/8 gap.
High " on rotary gap. set to same voltage as

Both magnetos tested under similar conditions.
