X.4430 - CONDENSERS.

Answering your By10/P3.10.23, we are preparing a report on the whole question of condenser variation, the experimental work now being completed.

At the time of our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 10/T4.10.23, there was one series of tests, including tests on one of the two varnished condensers, which had not been completed.

We can say now, however, for your preliminary information that our very careful tests have not shown any advantage of the two special condensers made up with varnish internally and pressed after drying in Vacuo.

For further conclusions with regard to these variations, will you kindly await our complete report.
