| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +4694 308 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}19/KW.20.9.34. Carburetters. In conjunction with the general development work of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III engine, the major part of the carburetter work can be carried out on a Bentley engine. Will you therefore supply two new carburetters to LOP. 85021 (both left hand). Also will you fit the necessary flanges to the induction pipe which can be supplied by the Test bed (C.T.S.). This will enable the SpectreCodename for Phantom III carbs. to be adapted to the Bentley engine. A new carburetter was instructed in our memo: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}12/MJ.8.8.34, for 20/25. We would like this job pushing through at the same time, as the modifications incorporated are based on practical experience of complaints received.
