Dear Sirs,

The best engine should also be best protected against any harmful reaction.
As soon it is agreed that condensation of atmospheric moisture naturally occurs in the cylinders, carburetter and piping of every engine when it is standing idle, especially in bad weather it must be agreed also that the longevity of even the best engine should be ensured by shutting it up when it is standing idle.
Besides this experience from a car in my use through the whole winter time has shown to me that the action of the sparking plugs is success-
