The swapping of a new front axle between chassis 98-NK and 9-PK and the necessary arrangements with customs.

Ps3/JP.11.4.24. ----------------- As you are aware chassis 98-NK has been returned to this country, but it is not fitted with the new front axle sent out in case 11434. We have therefore advised the Customs that the new axle will be fitted to chassis 9-PK and we shall be glad if you will arrange for the old axle off this chassis to be returned with chassis 9-PK in due course. Our representative in charge of this car should be informed that the axles have been changed while in France and details of export of chassis 11434 should be in his possession so that he will be able to confirm his statement to the British Customs. If for any reason this suggestion cannot be adhered to, will you please let us know so that we are kept in touch with the matter. df/BP. | ||
