EPCG/ADLO.3.31 contd. -2- It was noticed that the noise of the contact breaker was more pronounced than standard. The amount of burning of the rotor blade and sparking point was very slight being much less than we obtain on our standard distributor. The particular points of interest resulting from the test of this unit are :- (1) The reduced amount of burning of the distributor points. and (2) The better condition of the L.T. contact points and investigations are being made to determine the reasons of these two phenomena. In particular we are arranging for a chemical analysis of the rotor finger to be made. EFC. | ||
