Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T17.10.23. X.4430 - CONDENSER WITH IMPROVED CONNECTIONS. Should not the lids of the Goshawk condensers be sealed up all round in the same way as the U.S.A. Bosch and Liberty condensers are sealed, to prevent the breathing action due to temperature cycles which must necessarily take place, and one would think introduce moisture into the case ? Presumably the snag about this is the difficulty of re-opening the condenser, but have we not now arrived at the time when the necessity for re-opening the ones in present production has vanished ? We do not know of any definite trouble due to them not being completely sealed, but it is considered that to seal them it would probably be better. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
