With reference to the steering wheel with the Goshawk type rim which is fitted on 6.EX, Mr. Royce does not like the narrow rim. He would also like to increase the diameter to 18", and we accordingly send you herewith N.scheme 1349 showing an 18" wheel, with the existing 40/50 size rim.

We have no detail of the wheel here and therefore are not sure of the exact dimensions, but the width and thickness of the rim are intended to be standard. As however Mr. Royce thinks this may now be too thick he would like a model wheel made in as cheap a way as possible, say with a wooden rim, and sent down here so that it can be fitted to 6.EX and criticised.

This wheel applies to those 40/50 cars of which 6.EX is a model. With the "Seagull" we shall have a further wheel which will have Goshawk spokes, and Goshawk method of fixing at the centre.
