Dunlop Medium Pressure Tyres used on tests in France.

On 20th ult. you asked me to ascertain from the Dunlop Co. whether they would like us to return to them for examination the tyres which have been used for a 10,000 miles test of 20 HP. chassis in France.

The tyres referred to were sent by the Dunlop Co. direct to Mr. Hancock at Chateauroux in March last and according to my records they comprised 12 tyres 5¼" dia. with inner tubes to fit 21" wellbase rims.

You informed me that one of the tyres was so badly out of truth as received that it was only run for a few hours and had to be removed.

We are now in receipt of a letter from the Dunlop Co. saying they will be greatly obliged if we will arrange to have the tyres returned to them for examination and they will be glad if we will mark the tyre which was so badly out of truth in such a manner that it can be easily identified.
