X 4383 To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /TMW. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T20.8.23. X.4383 - GOSHAWK DYNAMOS. We are sending you herewith our experimental E dynamo which is set to the very latest (11 amps.) specification of production test. Will you kindly have dynamo No.161 removed from 8GII engine on the test bed and replaced with this machine, so that we can set this other machine to the latest specification, after which we wish to put this on 4-GII and take an exact output curve on the road. The machine then taken from 4-GII can then, after being brought up-to-date as regards output, etc., be exchanged or not as convenient for the E dynamo, which will be then on 8-GII engine. We shall be obliged if you will let us have dynamo No.161 at your earliest convenience. On further thought, as we desire to carry out different brush material tests on various machines, we shall be asking you to make a number of similar dynamo changes in the near future. EFC. {E.
