EW6. WATFORD MAGNETOS.

Referring to your EY10/G22.5.28, these three magnetos have now been received and inspected by us.
As suspected, these transpire to be machines fitted (similar to five others which we have had in the Expl. Dept.) with continuous cam rings in place of built-up cam rings.
It should be mentioned that this puts the control ball joint further out from the body of the magneto by about 1/4", and would, if standardised, necessitate a small alteration.

It is thought that the best thing to do with these magnetos would be to hand them straight over to the Test Dept. for further trials by them, they having already tried out one or two of the five experimental machines, so far with satisfaction.

As we have no doubt that EY. will agree that this is the best course to take with these three machines, we are having them sent over straight away to the Test Dept.
