For the attention of Mr.Gollop.

Dear Sirs,

We have today received four rubber hose connections, which are dark grey internally and externally, with the accompanying label referring to our letter of the 4th. int. and also to your letter of the 10th. inst. We cannot trace any copy of your letter of the 10th. inst. and would therefore be obliged if you would let us have one to indicate for what purpose these samples are intended.

As mentioned above, we note that these hose connections are now grey internally as well as externally, and you will recollect that we were asking for such a connection some four or five months ago when you stated that you were unable to supply same.

We would like you to clear the position up for us.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
