RE BENTLEY CHASSIS B-138-JD.{J. Draper - Frames}

NOISY AXLE & COMPLAINT ON FAULTY BEDDING OF BALL RACE ON BOTTOM FACE OF HOUSING.

We have looked into this and we are taking every precaution in so much as, the housing drawing has been altered to give a .050 rad; against a .075 rad; on the ball race. We have a good gauge for checking the extent of flat face and all housings are thus being checked.

Further the fitters are checking with a feeler gauge between housing face and bearing.

Mr.Pritchards remarks are attached to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}'s copy.
