Noisy axle and faulty ball race bedding on a Bentley Chassis B-138-JD.

We have looked into this and we are taking every precaution in so much as, the housing drawing has been altered to give a .050 rad; against a .075 rad; on the ball race. We have a good gauge for checking the extent of flat face and all housings are thus being checked. Further the fitters are checking with a feeler gauge between housing face and bearing.
