M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley, Esq.,
Messrs. Vauxhall Motors Ltd.,
Luton,
Beds.

Dear Mr. Olley,

Re your note asking for particulars of our spring testing machine. I am afraid our machine does not draw load deflection diagrams but it does accurately and quickly measure the load at a predetermined length.

The machine is suitable for tension and compression coil springs and has a 360° scale of about 18" dia. reading up to 180 lbs. It is made by Averys, and the type No. is A721/293.

Yours truly,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
