No. REF: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG231025 they have not made the best use of their overhead camshaft. The engine is very interesting as an example of what can be done in silencing an overhead camshaft, and the neatness with which the auxiliary drives can be incorporated in this type of engine. It should also prove instructive as to methods of weight saving on the cyl. block. The engine is very free from torsional vibrations, possibly something might be learned from the flywheel attachment. On the whole the car is in much the same class as the Chrysler for performance only with inferior brakes and better steering. The general finish of the chassis is of course much above that of the American car. ------------- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
