CHASSIS 11.UP. Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}/NMC/2/HMO.5.25. It is evident from this, as well as our long previous experience with him, that he is an extremely "difficult" customer, although at the moment the springing is his only complaint, and he expressed his satisfaction with the rest of the chassis including the smoothness of the engine at all speeds. (there is now no evidence at all of slipper drive trouble). I recommend that the only thing to do is to let him try a pair of springs with a really drastic difference namely some 25% stiffer springs so that he will really be bound to observe a difference. I suggested this to him and explained the type of spring I had in mind, and warned him that possibly he might be glad to have his present springs back again. He would be very glad to try these springs both with and without the dampers in use, and we are arranging for a pair to be sent to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} As I mentioned to Mr. Cowen, if 29.LK{L. King} is still available it might be useful to send this car down to him to try over the same roads on the same day with 11.UP to find out if he is still convinced that 29.LK{L. King} is superior.
