These extracts from the book, Battle of the Narrow Seas, written by Peter Scott, the naturalist, of Slimbridge, etc., and who during the war commanded a flotilla of MTBs and MGBs as a Lt. Cdr.{W. J. Chandler - Chief Clerk}, refer to Lt. Peter Howes and Lt. R.P.Hichens who are mentioned in Rolls-Royce correspondence, etc., in this file with regard to guns for Coastal Forces vessels.
