Chapter 3.
GENERAL

In the sentence -
"It will be seen that the electrical system is earthed on the negative side of the battery to the chassis frame, and that all switching is done in the positive leads."

we suggest we say:-
"All hand switching is done on the positive leads"

because, of course, the automatic dynamo switching is done on the negative side.

ELECTRICAL FAULT LOCATION.

(2a) "Dirty contacts" should be "dirty cutout contacts".

Chapter 4.
CARE OF BATTERY.

Care of Battery under Running Conditions.

We might add at the end a paragraph :-
"It is most important for the life of the battery to avoid at any time allowing the terminal P.D. down below 10.8 for any extended period. It is even of greater importance always to keep all plates well covered with electrolyte."
