1245 W/P - Sr. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR.{M. H. Rigby}1/JH.30.3.40. Instructions for Adjusting B.V. Servos. Disconnect front end of rear half of prop. shaft, and slacken off both adjusting nuts on end of servo shaft. Robating the prop. shaft by hand tighten up inner servo nut on to cam levers until servo just tends to drag, now tighten by hand the outer nut and then unscrew inner nut to lock. This gives the finest possible adjustment and the pedal movement to take up the clearance should be of the order of 0.100". Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR.{M. H. Rigby} | ||
