(8) SCUTTLE ISOLATION - 20 HP.

It was agreed that the scheme used on 5.G.11. (FHR. all-weather) should be carried on with for immediate use and that a standardisation sheet should be immediately put into circulation. We would point out that this system has been actually in use for many months and has proved very satisfactory in preventing various engine and other vibrations reaching the body. We think that the present isolation shewn on the coachbuilders print should be washed out and nothing substituted in its place on the print, but that a separate small sketch of the new isolation scheme should be provided. Since we have little or no time to make this ourselves we propose sending rough sketches to Derby for them to provide this drawing for you.
