Wind Tone Horns. You have received from us some while ago a design for fitting the wind tone horns on the front of the Bentley car. We now send you herewith LeC 4870 showing the horn relay unit fitted to the dashboard. The unit is placed on the centre line of the steering column on the face of the dash. The petrol pump as drawn is that with rubber mounting shown on LeC 4865, but the scheme works equally well with the standard petrol pump and the reserve tap. We are engaged in fitting the rocking button switch to the top of the steering column using all Phantom III pieces, and the scheme will only entail a modification to the top cover of the steering column control unit.
