Rolls Royce, Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. [Handwritten note: WH Davies, did you handle this? B] Dear Sirs. We thank you for the interview granted with our Mr. Whitfield re. Jacks. We have now finished an extensive series of experiments and have definitely fixed on our new pattern Jacks, and have decided to manufacture a range which will cover all requirements, but unfortunately we are not yet in a position to make immediate deliveries. The only Jack which we can at present deliver being the Midas Jack which although it will lift your Car as is illustrated by the enclosed photograph, is not a good enough class Jack to be in keeping with your Car. The next best Jack we make is the New Millennium Jack, a sample of which our Mr. Whitfield showed you, and which we shall be in a position to deliver in about two months. We have however a far superior jack namely:- "Millennium" Express, which we feel sure when you see you will adopt for your Car.
