With the improved method of manufacturing carburetters in the works, having given us some form of consistency, we have been able to slightly weaken the mixture and improve the petrol consumption without in any way affecting the performance of the car by using a different tapered needle, and we should like you to instruct for this needle to go into production immediately. The needle goes by the name of XC3 and its dimensions are, in thous. of an inch, at intervals of .125", as follows :- 1 .099" 2 .099" 3 .099" 4 .093" 5 .0885" 6 .0855" 7 .084" 8 .0835" 9 .083" 10 .0825" 11 .082" 12 .0815" 13 .081" 14 .0805" This needle should replace XC2 needle.
