X45803 RECEIVED 26 APR 1933 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} EY. Br.FW. re Bentley Car. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E24.4.33 Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/KT.14.333 I quite realise and appreciate what a very great achievement it was to have the second car ready before Easter. I note that you have no intention of sending it to France until you are satisfied that you have overcome all the complaints, and I presume from the last paragraph you mean that you will take every possible precaution to see that pistons and differential are satisfactory before sending the car to France. I shall be interested to know whether this second car has the thermostat scheme in place of radiator shutters. I notice that some memos. refer to the car by the name of "Bensport" and some by the name of "Bentley". I think it will be best if we now refer to it under the designation under which it is going to be sold, i.e. the 3 1/2-litre Bentley. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
