These tests were taken with 5 up and heavy Roads on "D" of the second series, and with 5. up and good average Roads on C of the second series on the last test of the second series, the car was driven fast with the extra oiling arrangment disconnected, the engine commenced to knock slightly
The gauge refered, to was a piece of fine net. which was fixed in front of the radiator
