contd :- -3- We recommend in all cases where grooveless bearings are employed that the crankshaft journals be provided with three holes equally spaced to supply oil to the big end bearings and that suitable relief valve springs be fitted to raise the main oil pressure to between 60 lbs/sq.in. and 100 lbs/sq.in.
