Engine Side Trays, and Front Guard.

These are the standard guards fitted to customers cars and this is the first I have heard of them being unsatisfactory.

---

It has to be realised that GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} is averaging 80 m.p.h. with the car and anything vital may break, which is the object of the test. It has disclosed in this case some faulty work on the bumper mounting.

With regard, however, to lesser points on these 10,000 miles tests, it is more or less agreed that we do not take action unless they are endorsed by the Experimental Department owing to the extreme conditions of the tests, in other words, the reports have to be to some extent interpreted.

We are dealing with the remainder of the 10,000 mile report in the usual manner.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
