The Pressed Steel Co., Ltd., Cowley, O X F O R D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Dear Mr. Maton, In the absence of Mr. E.A. Green, who is on holiday this week, I wish to acknowledge the receipt of both your letter of the 25th instant and the soft wood model of our proposed Buffer Support to Drg. No. RF.2515. We note that your Mr. Sutherland prefers to part the piece on the centre line and weld the two pieces together after pressing. This information has been passed on to our chassis designers, who, at the moment can see no objection to this procedure. Should any further difficulties arise in connec-tion with this part, we will write you again. In the meantime, we thank you very much for investigating and supplying us with this information. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
