Sidgreaves - MD} X1085 R2/M17.9.27. RE. BONNET SHUTTERS. X. 8260 X.55 X.1085 Referring to your BJ10/E15.9.27 from recent experience it is extremely desirable to have all bonnets 'Phantom' louvred. Improved design looks well and is inexpensive. The only objection to making this universal is the slight difference in noise while standing beside the car - not in closed body. I am of the opinion that we must forego this for the advantage of keeping the engine oil, induction, and autovac cooler: it will make a more business-like policy. Louvres are more practical than shutters, and opinions regarding appearance are divided. I think absolutely plain would be best, but as this is impossible, then I think there is nothing between shutters and louvres. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
