C.C. 1 - 4 1 6 } 6 W.P. - - - - This can be cured by providing adequate clearance at the mouth of the valve guide to allow for the formation of carbon. Previous " C.C. - - 4 1 5 } 5 W.P. - - - - Six months. 1 - 8 2 11 11 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE FALLS. September Quarter. C.C. 2 2 - 1 5 } 5 W.P. - - - - On 20 HP. this is due to oil surging in the crankcase when braking, and is cured by fitting a baffle to the oil sump. Previous " C.C. 1 3 - 1 5 } 5 W.P. - - - - Six months. 3 5 - 2 10 10 WATER LEAKS FROM CYLINDER. September Quarter. C.C. - - 11 4 15 } 73 W.P. - - 25 33 58 } Ph.I. & PH.II definitely cured by fitting nickel plated copper tubes in place of the original aluminium tubes. All cars being attended to whenever possible.
