To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} BY.22/N.16.9.38. Bentley - Thin Oil. At the last Chassis Conference it was suggested we tried out thin oil (Arctic) in one or two customers cars whom we knew did practically all town running. At the moment it appears we have not moved very far in this matter, and I should therefore like you to make the necessary arrangements from Kingsbury. I should like to have one or two new cars dealt with and one or two cars after re-bore under 20,000 miles. I don't know whether you have any "Arctic" oil at K.{Mr Kilner} but if not you can purchase a quantity from the Vacuum Oil Co. at R.R. Contract Price, and debit the amount to us, unless you would prefer us to order it to be delivered to K.{Mr Kilner} Perhaps you will let me know what you decide. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
