Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby, England.

Dear Mr. Hives:

Re Stromberg Carburetter

I think you may be interested in attached description of the latest American Stromberg carburetter, which has the following fittings:

(1) Accelerating well operated at full throttle.

(2) Mechanical adjustment of fuel restriction with throttle position.

(3) Mechanical enrichment of the low-speed jet, coupled to choke-valve for easy starting.

(4) A visible filter incorporated in carburetter with integral draining device.

Sorry that I could not get fuller descriptive matter but this appears to be all they have printed to date, except the usual sort of circus-posters.

Yours very truly,
Maurice Olley
