Referring to LoC.5523 - Wraith Battery Box the details of which are complete as a rivetted together unit. Before proceeding to make details of this box as a one-piece pressing, we would like to point out that the battery chosen for the job, has not its terminals arranged in the best manner to suit the wiring. As you are aware, the wiring travels across the Frame Cross, and approaches the battery box through the side of the box adjacent to the frame, necessitating a portion of the cable lying along the top of the end cell, which we dislike. Before approaching the battery manufacturers, we should like to know if you know of any reason for this particular feature. Apparently these batteries will be specially made for us, and in that case, we would like to have the best arrangement possible. BY/RD. | ||
