We believe this length to be best. STAY BRACKET ATTACHED TO FLANGE & WEB. We believe this could be tried on the 25 HP. The angle would only be about .750 but could be thick. The present stay should be moved to clear the engine foot, and attached as drawn. It should point to the intersection of the flange and web.
