Messrs. S. Smith & Sons,
(Motor Accessories) Ltd.,
179-185, Great Portland Street,
LONDON, W.1.

For attention of Mr. Bailey.

Dear Sirs,

"Jackall" Jacks.

Thank you for your letter G.3/EHB/KW2734.

Your Representative has completed the above system on our P.II car, we are now able to continue with our tests.

We have designed a new type of bracket for the rear Jacks and hope to try these very shortly. With regard to the front brackets, we have noticed that these tend to give on the axle and allow the whole Jack to toe inwardly.

Whilst you are making up the telescopic Jacks for us will you please try and find a more stable method of fitting the Jacks to the front axle.

With regard to the pump operating handle, the one you supplied with the system is really too short, being approximately twelve inches long, and we shall be pleased to receive a twenty inch handle, which we think will make the operation of the pump much easier.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
