x1729 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}6/KW1.8.34. There is a 16-cylinder Cadillac now at W. in the Experimental Department's possession, the body of which you would no doubt like to look over to see some of its more important features such as method of construction, method of mounting, etc. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} arranged for Hoopers to have a look over this car before it went to the Works, and Mr. Sclater Booth rang me up and said that, whereas he understood it was all-steel construction, this apparently is not the case and there is some wood in it. He even found that the door hinges were fixed with wood screws. When you next go to W. would you take an opportunity of looking at this body and let me have a report on its most interesting points. We should particularly like to know what the weight of this body is, and if W. remove the body for the purpose of getting at the chassis would you ask them to have it weighed and let us know what the weight is and of course what the weight includes. Ca you tell me please anything about these points Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} huel | ||
