3 1/2 LITRE BENTLEY.

Vanden Plas. have confirmed to us the despatch to you yesterday of Open cars Nos. B.1.AE and B.11.AE in trucks Nos. 5194 and 35131.

They tell us that they telegraphed this information to you early yesterday afternoon.

Their arrangement of the instruments boards are such that the wires to the switch boxes, etc. are too short. Will you kindly have longer wires fitted whilst the cars are in your hands.

Can you exchange the stove enamelled wire wheels for others specially prepared by the makers for cellulose spraying? We are told that the Dunlop Co. will, if requested to do so, now supply their Wheels specially prepared for cellulose spraying instead of stove enamelled.

Perhaps the Rudge Whitworth people are in a position to offer the same choice of finish.

We might explain, for your information, that the special treatment the wheel makers apply to their Wheels when they know it is intended to spray them has been found an excellent foundation for the cellulose. In the ordinary way cellulose will not adhere for long to wire wheels, but we are assured that after a wheel has been treated by the makers the cellulose gives a satisfactory and lasting finish.
