detailed in accordance with request from Exptl: Dept:

Will you please instruct up as required for the above experiment, with remainder of parts to complete this section, as already instructed for India 4. (also for Production for "P" Series), to LOP.E.55062.

We would like to bring to your notice our memo BY/CS6/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}27.5.27, in which we ordered, to Mr Bailey's instructions, a 20HP Radiator E.54612-LOP, with smaller dia: matrix tubes, which were also .500 shorter than std; following the practice adopted on Phantom chassis, also since that Radiator was instructed the standard 20HP and India 4 radiators have been increased in height by 1.500.

The above matrix tubes E.55294/5 are same length as present standard 20HP and India 4, viz:- 3.750, which is only .250 shorter than the Phantom Matrix tubes. If you consider it advisable to shorten the matrix tubes owing to the increased cooling effect of the smaller dia: tubes along with the improved fan, will you please inform us.

Order Office have been supplied with blueprints E.55294/5 along with Mr Bailey's memo BY6/G.24.4.29, which instructed them to order sufficient tubes XXXX to make four radiators.

The approx: number of tubes required per radiator is -
7000 off E.55294 and
90 off E.55295.

This radiator along with the fan instructed in memo BY/CS2/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}10.5.29, should also be fitted to the chassis with the 3.250 bore cylinders.
