For the attention of Mr.Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation with you today, we are arranging for an order to be passed to you for 14 pistons to C.37, and also 7 pistons to the same drawing but in RR.53 material.

We would confirm that we are particularly anxious to obtain the set of six pistons, similar to the ones we have already received, by the end of the week. We can use the existing gudgeon pins if necessary, and will send the six we are at present running to you tonight when we have completed our endurance test. We shall be greatly obliged if you will let us have these six pistons without fail on Saturday.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
