| 87941 To D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP. From GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Hotel de France, Chateauroux(French test region), FRANCE. 24/7/31. We received Advice Notes of a front silencer being despatched from Derby on 7/7/31. The number of the package being 7852. There has been considerable delay with this package in reaching us. We finally made enquiries from Hernu Perons' Paris with the result that we received the same today. For some reason, of which we are not aware of, the only adress on the package was, Chateauroux(French test region), Indre. Therefore Hernu Perons' in Paris did not knew who this package belonged to. We have also had to pay Fcs 22 50, whereas in your memo. it definitely states that no charges would have to be paid at this end. We shall be obliged if you would see into this matter, as had we had not been able to fit up an exhaust temporarily, we should have definitely been held up. We enclose chit with excess expenses on it, which we have paid. G.W.Hancock. GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
