We send you herewith print of Sch. 1089 showing new exhaust valve lift curve produced in accordance with the information given in E2/M30.8.28. We are using the present exhaust cam as per valve lift curve shown on Sch. 1053 for the inlet in conjunction with the new exhaust cam which is being produced in accordance with the above scheme, and two sets of camshafts have been instructed to give the alternative timing diagrams suggested by R.{Sir Henry Royce} We have shown the present exhaust valve lift curve on the above print, so that you can see what increase in valve opening we shall get with the new exhaust cam.
