NEW 25 HP. CRANKSHAFT FORGING.

Referring to your By8/G.4.12.31. in which you issue instructions thatt these forgings are to be machined to E.56885. We have now completed 10,000 miles on the balanced crankshaft to E.57271 and shall not be trying anything else for 'U' series. Will you please instruct RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, therefore, to machine them to this latter number as we shall not change the dowelled type of balance weights on this size of crankshaft.
