20 HP. STEERING. G.D.FLATHER ESQ. CHASSIS GDK.49.

Referring to the suggestions and designs put forward under R7/M.1.10.25. and Da {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 4/M. 1.10.25. the proposals in question are being tested, of course, in the Experimental Dept. before we can do anything in regard to the customer.

Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has already got a .8 pitch worm working, and we are issuing drawings to the Experimental Dept. this weekend or early on Monday, covering the proposals put forward in the designs supplied by Da. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} It would obviously be a mistake to rush in and do something for the customer before we have proved whether what we propose to do is advantageous. It may be otherwise.
