Purely as an experimental item we are again taking up the possibility of the benefit accruing from a slightly domed surface of one of the points, namely the one attached to the screw. Previously, before we had the scrubbing action we had arrived at the conclusion that the doming was no advantage and that the present absolutely flat surfaces of both points were necessary. Now it is our intention to experiment on the benfits of this slight doming in view of the fact that the scrubbing action may enable us to realise the obvious advantages of such doming from a repair and replacement point of view.
