Nightingale Road, Derby, England. Gentlemen:- X4280 For the attention of Mr. T.W.Warwick. We are in receipt of your esteemed favor of Nov. 25th in which you express an interest in "Fan Flame" spark plugs, in response to our circular which we sent to you. We note your request to send you a sample of this plug for examination and trial and if your test is satisfactory, you will consider ordering a larger quantity. Instead of sending you one plug, we communicated with the service station you have in New York, requesting information as to the number of plugs in the 'Rolls-Royce' engine and the description, and they advised us that you use metric plugs of 18 mm. We therefore sent you a set of 12 "Standard" plugs, and enclose memorandum invoice. If these plugs are found satisfactory, kindly accept the invoice but should they be found unsatisfactory, kindly return them to us by mail and the invoice will be cancelled. The "Fan Flame" spark plugs in the metric sizes are made in three styles:- "Long Metric"(Code word-"AFCOH"), "Short Metric" (Code word-"AFCEX"), and the "Standard Metric"(Code word-"AFCLE"). We are enclosing another set of circulars to which your attention is invited and we assure you that in every particular, the plug is guaranteed by the manufacturers as well as ourselves. We have been informed that these plugs were recently exhibited at the Olympia Show in London and as a result, together with the circulars that we have mailed, a number of orders are being received. We have not made yet any firm arrangement for the agency for England but have a number of propositions pending.
