FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 25HP. FRONT AXLE. X5020. Herewith we send N. sch. 3411. shewing the proposed method of carrying the oil connection through the brake carrier plate to avoid the assembling difficulties that GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} complains of. The present scheme was devised when there was a drip plug used for the side and cross steering levers. When this was removed the old pieces were kept on to a large extent. It is suggested that it might be revised to make it a little less awkward to get the connection together satisfactorily.
