"RECTASKID":

We have tried the Hooper Trials car fitted with Rectaskid. Our impression was that the springing was insufficiently damped and that the car rolled and pitched badly. When Rectaskids are fitted, the shock absorbers are removed both front and rear. The only effect of the Rectaskid fitting itself, is to further reduce the friction of the road springs.

We have interviewed the Inventor of Rectaskid and he has no reasonable explanation to justify the claims made for this device.

At the present time we have on loan two sets of Rectaskid which we intend trying ourselves at Derby at the first opportunity.
