WOK/PG SUBJECT 16th May......1936 Dear West, Thank you very much indeed for your letter of the 14th May and for the very interesting news it contained. I am glad to hear that the distributors are running successfully, and I shall always be interested to hear your reports on them from time to time. With reference to the wide plug gaps, I have just completed a test of about 9,000 miles on a set of standard A.C. sparking plugs set at .055" gaps, and since then I have recently started another test with a slightly different type of plug set at .055" gaps. I have collected what I believe to be some interesting experience on the subject, and, if it is agreeable to you, I think I could drive over next Thursday [Handwritten correction: 'Friday' written above] with a view to having a talk on the matter. I am, as you know, tremendously keen on this subject, and I would like to have your views. I am, Yours sincerely, W.O.
