X.3875 Expl: Dept: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}4/LG. 18th. Oct. 1927. The Cambridge Scientific Instu:Co., Cambridge. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 13th. inst. We regret that we have not previously replied to your letter of the 12th. Aug., but we handed over the whole question of the electrical thermometer to our Mr. Clark. We observe that the whole question has now been satisfactorily settled and that there is no danger of the platinum wire fusing under normal working conditions. If you will therefore let us have an estimate for the cost of repairing this instrument, we will send on an official order covering this point. Yours faithfully, | ||
